  • Current University/institute Please enter the standing of the university.  If it has international repute (like IITs, IISc, AIIIMS, Indian School of Law or IIMs) choose that.  If you choose colleges of national repute (RECs, University colleges) choose that option.  Finally, choose the local college option if your college is not very reputed.

  • Projects  Please consult your faculty or a knowledgeable person about the quality of your work if you are not in a position to guide.  A good thumb rule is that your work is not top class if you had to consult a faculty for its quality.
Project:
  • Number of projects  Enter the number of projects that belong to the highest quality.  i.e. if you have 1 outstanding project and 3 routine projects, please enter only 1.

  • Quality of Reco letters  If yours are given by the same people who are giving every one else in your class and if they are not well known in their fields select "Routine".  If you get a reco from a very responsible person even though he/she is not known in your field (sports minister, CEO of a well known company etc.) choose the second category.  If you get from a recognized scientist in your field, choose the last category.

  • Work experience  If your work experience is directly related to the field you are applying to, choose relevant.  If it is not but some how conveys your passion and vision through the awards that you got, choose the second option.  Third and forth options are very clear
